Getting to the HY institutions
The Higher Education (HE) institutions in York are all easily accessible from the city centre and the surrounding area.
The University of York The University of York is situated to the south of the city centre, in Heslington. The university campus is attractive, boasting a lake and lots of green areas, making it a pleasant environment to study and live in. York College York College is situated two miles from the city centre and is easily accessible by public transport.
