Structure

Higher York is governed by a Board made up of the head of each organisation. The Board meets quarterly to set the strategic direction of the partnership, overseeing the annual operating plan and budget.

The Higher York Executive group, which is made up of senior representatives from all member organisations, provides the interface between the Board and the wider partnership. It is responsible for the implementation of the strategy, monitoring of budget and the performance of the central team.

Activity is underpinned by the following standing groups: Employment & Skills; Learners & Support; and Data & Planning. A range of task and finish groups are currently in existence.
